It is very important that you get the email address of your clients. This will help you make sales to those people who are already interested on your products or services. In this line, it is also important that you acquire the email addresses of these clients with their permission so that you will not be branded as spammer.
Here are some tips on how you can build permission-based mailing list.
1.You need to update your list as soon as a client changed their companies or their ISPs. This is to make sure that you would still contact them.
2.When you do direct marketing, make sure that you would include an email registration info so that you can add up to your list.
3.You can also get the email addresses of your clients once they buy the product. You can get their email address at cash registers. This only shows that they want your product and that is why they are buying it.
4.If you are sending in brochures or cards to your clients via US mail, then provide an opt in or clients to be included in your mailing list.
5.Provide a squeeze in to your site where potential customers can add their email address in your list.
Remember that you cannot build your list within a day. This takes time and a lot of effort. But this will really give you the best results after you have dedicated your time and effort.
